100% authentically me.

I was asked yesterday by a friend and colleague about these altered lyrics, updated nursery rhymes, ancient Chinese proverbs and random musings I have been posting and whether I was just getting them and reposting them from somewhere else.

All of this stuff is ORIGINAL. I haven’t copied them from anywhere else, though sometimes I get inspiration from things I read or hear. But all this creative stuff I’ve posted up are certainly not copied or plagiarised from anywhere else or any other source. They are 100% genuine from my insanely twisted mind.

Now that I’ve cleared that up, I hope you keep enjoying reading them!

Twinkle twinkle little star

with one comment

Lyrics of a popular song updated with modern day sensibility:

Twinkle twinkle little star

Why are you so bloody far?

You’re not a diamond in the sky

I won’t keep telling my kids these lies

Twinkle twinkle little star

You are worthless, that’s what you are.

The man from St. Ives

with one comment

Logical continuation of a pseudo-nursery rhyme in the unpolitical correctness of today:

As I was going to St. Ives

I met a man with seven wives

Which made me think about the days of my life

Monogamy sucks, polygamy promotes relationships with multiple wives

Reality dawned; why the hell did I go to St. Ives?

Random musing:

“Don’t speak” is just a polite word of asking someone to “shut the $(#$ up”.

Polly put the kettle on

Lyrics of a popular song updated with modern day sensibility:

Polly put the kettle on

Polly put the kettle on

Polly put the kettle on

We’ll all have tea

Sukey take it off again

Grumbling that it’s such a pain

If there’s one person she hates

It’s Polly, messy housemate.
